Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Service Technician with hands-on knowledge across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, and general handyman services.

The ideal candidate is a skilled problem-solver who can work independently, communicate professionally with customers, and complete service calls safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform commercial maintenance, repairs, and service calls.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
• Perform plumbing repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Perform general handyman and building maintenance work.
• Handle minor carpentry, drywall, painting, and other general repairs.
• Repair and install doors, hardware, fixtures, walls, ceilings, and other building components.
• Diagnose service issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other job-related equipment.
• Read and follow work orders and scopes of work.
• Take accurate before-and-after photos and document completed work.
• Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and facility managers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety requirements, PPE requirements, and customer site rules.
• Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Identify additional maintenance or repair needs and report them to management.
• Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials in good working condition.
• Travel to various commercial customer locations as required.

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in electrical, plumbing, handyman, or commercial facility maintenance.
• Working knowledge of multiple trades.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel between customer locations.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of service work, including lifting, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Professional appearance and customer-service skills.

Licenses & Certifications

An active trade license or certification is a strong plus, including:

• Electrical license
• Plumbing license
• HVAC certification
• General contracting or trade certifications
• OSHA certifications
• Other relevant technical certifications

Candidates with multiple trade licenses or certifications are encouraged to apply.

Tools & Vehicle

The following are strong advantages:

• Own professional hand and power tools.
• Own service vehicle or truck suitable for service work.
• Ability to transport tools and materials to customer locations.

Tools and a service truck are a plus, but are not required for the right candidate.

Background Check – Required

A clear background is a mandatory requirement for this position.

All candidates must successfully pass the required pre-employment background screening.

Because this position may require access to commercial properties, customer facilities, equipment, and secured areas, candidates must meet applicable customer and company access requirements.

A driving-record check, employment verification, license verification, and other lawful pre-employment screening may also be required.
